Cbank not to resume stock trade on Moscow Exchange on Mon–Fri
MOSCOW, Mar 14 (PRIME) -- Russia’s central bank has decided against resuming stock trading on the Moscow Exchange from Monday through Friday, the regulator said in a statement late on March 12.
The equity market will be closed, and only negotiated buyback deals with settlements in rubles will be open for trade on the bond market.
The derivatives market will be open for trade in foreign exchange and commodity deals.
The foreign exchange, precious metals, and money markets will be open from 10:00 a.m. through 6.45 p.m. Moscow time.
The central bank plans to announce the Moscow Exchange’s trade mode for the week from March 21 through March 25 later.
